Effectively removing dust generated by intense friction, these brake pads ensure stable braking performance. The friction material in brake pads can produce gas when subjected to high temperatures, which can hinder braking by creating a gap between the pad and rotor, resulting in what's known as brake fade. The slits placed at the center of the brake pads efficiently expel gas and pad debris, maintaining consistent braking power.

To further reduce unpleasant noise, these pads feature chamfered edges, as pads with sharp edges can generate undesirable sounds during braking. This chamfered edge design minimizes brake noise.

Additionally, these brake pads come pre-treated with heat-resistant processing, eliminating the need for additional heat treatment and preventing the generation of gas that can lead to brake fade. Simply install them, and you can use them with confidence. These pads also incorporate a robust backplate that resists warping, even under strong piston pressure, ensuring the friction material stays intact and preventing serious accidents. While most backplates are made of steel, Project Mu uses a steel plate that offers 20% higher strength than stock backplates to ensure sufficient durability.

Please note that while these features contribute to reduced brake noise and enhanced performance, brake noise can still occur due to factors such as rotor aging, resonance, judder, brake dust, rust, and weather conditions.
