● The FA20/FA24 engines have a design that allows engine oil, which accumulates in the oil pan during circuit driving or intense braking G-forces, to flow in large quantities into the front chain cover. This can cause the oil strainer to experience air ingestion, leading to a drop in oil pressure, and in the worst-case scenario, result in engine failure.
● The GReddy Oil Pan Baffle Plate is designed to prevent the uneven distribution of engine oil, which commonly occurs during acceleration, deceleration, and cornering. It incorporates multiple louvers on the plate to ensure that oil doesn't pool on it but flows smoothly back into the oil pan, preventing air ingestion and maintaining proper oil pressure.
