4POT Caliper Version of the Forged Monoblock Caliper with Thousands of Tons of Pressure:
This 4-piston caliper version is a monoblock caliper forged with thousands of tons of pressure.
Performance aspects such as lightweight design, durability, and heat dissipation have been pursued, with extensive testing and multiple revisions to the detailed shape.
Wheels with a 15-inch diameter and above can now be fitted, expanding the range of compatible wheels.
The challenging machining of piston cylinders has been achieved using advanced special techniques.
The finished body is treated with super hard anodization, representing the culmination of ENDLESS's "endless challenge" in technology.
Choice of Brake Pads:
Customers can choose the material for caliper-specific brake pads to match their driving stage.
RacingMONO4 Caliper-Specific Brake Pad Material Options:
NEW TYPE R
MX72
MX72 PLUS
Caliper Body and Rotor Housing:
The caliper body of our monoblock series features super hard anodization, while the rotor housing utilizes Toughram coating.
This combination allows for significantly delayed color fading of the anodization even under high-temperature conditions during circuit driving.
Please note that custom color options are not available for the RacingMONO block series.
E-Slit for High Braking Performance:
Brake rotors combined with the monoblock series feature long slits that form smooth curves and "E-slits," which are rows of "E" slits on top of the long slits. The dual-shaving effect of these two types of slits ensures that the brake pads remain in their optimal condition at all times, resulting in improved braking performance.
When the long slits on the rotor surface disappear, and the letter "E" becomes prominent, it's time to consider replacing the rotor. Additionally, based on real-world testing, our ceramic carbon-metal brake pads are an excellent match for this system.
About Bedding:
For circuit-specific pads that prioritize high-temperature characteristics, preheating and bedding, a process that involves adding heat before engaging in hard driving, is essential to bring out their full performance.
Bedding is a crucial step even in top-tier races such as SUPER GT, WRC, and various European competitions.
Proper bedding is necessary not only for stabilizing high-temperature performance but also for extending the life of both the pads and rotors.
How to Bed the Brake Pads:
When newly installed and for circuit driving, gradually raise the rotor temperature to around 400-500°C while avoiding hard braking. This process is known as "bedding in."
Afterward, allow natural cooling to bring the rotor temperature back down to below 100°C to complete the bedding process.
Note that bedding in rainy conditions may not allow the brake pads to achieve their full performance. It is advisable to perform bedding in dry weather whenever possible.
